Season Overview
Real Madrid secured their 30th La Liga title in the 2006-07 season, finishing 1st in the league. Under manager Fabio Capello, the club also competed in the Copa del Rey, reaching the Round of 16 where they were eliminated by Real Betis. In the UEFA Champions League, Real Madrid advanced to the Round of 16 before being knocked out by Bayern Munich.
Key Players
The squad featured prominent players such as Ruud van Nistelrooy, who was the top goalscorer for the club that season, and legendary goalkeeper Iker Casillas. Other key figures included Raúl and Sergio Ramos. The home kit for this season was manufactured by Adidas and prominently displayed the BenQ-Siemens sponsor across the front.
