Season Overview
The 1999-2000 season began early for West Ham as they competed in and won the UEFA Intertoto Cup, beating French side Metz in the final to qualify for the UEFA Cup. The club went on to finish 9th in the Premier League for the third consecutive season. In the 2000-01 season, the team reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup and finished 15th in the league. A notable result during this period was a 5-4 victory against Bradford City at Upton Park.

Managed by Harry Redknapp, the squad featured a number of iconic players during this two-season period. Key figures included Paolo Di Canio, Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, and the emerging talents of Joe Cole and Michael Carrick.
