Season Overview
The 2012-2013 season marked Adelaide United's eighth campaign in the A-League. Under coach John Kosmina, the club finished 4th in the A-League standings. Adelaide United also competed in the 2012 AFC Champions League, where they successfully progressed past the Group Stage and reached the Quarter-finals of the continental competition.

Key players for Adelaide United during this vintage football shirt season included Dario Vidošić, who was the team's top goalscorer in the league. Midfielder Marcelo Carrusca was a significant new signing, alongside Fábio Ferreira. Goalkeeper Eugene Galekovic was a prominent figure, and Jerónimo Morales Neumann also contributed with goals.
