Description

Season Overview

The 2005-06 season saw Ajax compete in the Eredivisie, KNVB Cup, and UEFA Champions League. Under manager Danny Blind, the club finished 4th in the Eredivisie. Ajax had success in cup competitions, winning the KNVB Cup after defeating PSV in the final, and also secured the Johan Cruyff Shield. In European competition, Ajax reached the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League.
