Season Overview

During the 2000-01 season, Club Brugge finished as runners-up in the Belgian Jupiler League and competed in the UEFA Cup. The following 2001-02 season saw the club again finish second in the Jupiler League. Under manager Trond Sollied, who led the team from 2000 to 2005, Club Brugge secured the Belgian Cup in the 2001-02 campaign and also featured in the UEFA Cup.
