Season Overview

The 2011-12 season saw FC Koln compete in the Bundesliga under manager Ståle Solbakken, who was later replaced by Frank Schaefer in April 2012. The club faced a challenging campaign, ultimately finishing 17th in the Bundesliga table, which resulted in their relegation from Germany's top flight. In the DFB-Pokal, FC Koln were eliminated in the 2nd Round.
