Season Overview
Feyenoord finished the 1995-96 Eredivisie season in 3rd place, with Ajax winning the championship. In European competition, they reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, where they were eliminated by Rapid Wien. Feyenoord was eliminated from the KNVB Cup by Sparta Rotterdam. Arie Haan took over as manager in October 1995, succeeding Willem van Hanegem.
