Season Overview
This was Fulham's first season back in the Championship after being relegated from the Premier League. The club had a difficult start, taking only one point from their first eight games, which led to a change in management. The team's form improved in the middle of the season before a poor run in early 2015 saw them slide down the table again, but they ultimately finished in 17th place. In the domestic cups, Fulham reached the fourth round of both the FA Cup and the League Cup, being eliminated by Sunderland and Derby County respectively.
Key Players
The season began with Felix Magath as manager, but he was replaced by Kit Symons in September, initially on a caretaker basis. Key figures in the squad included club captain Scott Parker and top goalscorer Ross McCormack, who scored 19 goals in all competitions. Other notable players were Hugo Rodallega, Cauley Woodrow and Moussa Dembélé.
