Leeds United's 2002-03 season proved challenging as the club finished 5th in the Premier League, missing out on Champions League qualification. The campaign saw continued financial pressures on the club following their remarkable run to the Champions League semi-final the previous year. Despite the league disappointment, Leeds remained competitive throughout the season and continued to maintain their status as a top-flight side.
