Season Overview
The 1992-93 season marked Manchester United's inaugural campaign in the newly formed FA Premier League. Under the management of Alex Ferguson, the club secured its first top-flight title in 26 years, finishing 10 points clear of Aston Villa. Manchester United also competed in the FA Cup, reaching the fifth round, and the League Cup, where they exited in the third round. Their European campaign in the UEFA Cup ended in the first round after a penalty shootout.

Key players for Manchester United during this historic season included the influential mid-season signing Eric Cantona, who became a talismanic figure. Mark Hughes was the team's leading goalscorer, while Ryan Giggs was recognized as the PFA Young Player of the Year for the second consecutive season. Captain Steve Bruce, along with Peter Schmeichel and Paul Ince, were also vital components of the squad that delivered the club's first Premier League title.
