Season Overview

Under the management of Louis van Gaal, Manchester United finished the 2015-16 season in 5th place in the Premier League, level on points with Manchester City but missing out on Champions League qualification due to goal difference. The season was highlighted by a triumphant FA Cup run, which saw them lift the trophy for a record-equalling 12th time after defeating Crystal Palace 2-1 in the final.

Key Players

The squad featured a mix of established stars and emerging talent. Wayne Rooney captained the side, with David de Gea in goal. The season saw the arrival of Anthony Martial, who finished as the club's top scorer, and the breakthrough of academy graduate Marcus Rashford.
