Season Overview

The 2012-13 season saw the Netherlands national team participate in UEFA Euro 2012, where they were drawn into Group B alongside Germany, Portugal, and Denmark. The team experienced a challenging tournament, failing to progress from the group stage after losing all three of their matches. Following this outcome, manager Bert van Marwijk resigned, and Louis van Gaal was appointed to begin his third spell as national team coach.
