Season Overview

The 2015-2016 season marked Olympiacos's 90th year in existence, having been founded on March 10, 1925. Under manager Marco Silva, the club secured their sixth consecutive Super League Greece title, finishing first in the league. Olympiacos also reached the final of the Greek Football Cup and competed in the UEFA Champions League group stage before progressing to the UEFA Europa League Round of 32.

Key players for Olympiacos during this historic vintage football shirt season included top league goalscorer Kostas Fortounis, experienced midfielder Esteban Cambiasso, and reliable goalkeeper Roberto Jiménez Gago. Forward Brown Ideye and defender Omar Elabdellaoui were also integral members of the squad.
