Season Overview

The 2011-12 season marked Rémi Garde's first as manager for Olympique Lyonnais. The club finished 4th in Ligue 1 and reached the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League. Domestically, Lyon had a mixed cup run, finishing as runners-up in the Coupe de la Ligue but winning the Coupe de France.

Key Players

Lisandro López, wearing the number 9, was a pivotal striker for Lyon, scoring in the Coupe de France final and being the club's top scorer in Ligue 1 that season. The squad also featured key players such as goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, defender Cris, midfielder Maxime Gonalons, and forwards Bafétimbi Gomis and Alexandre Lacazette.
