Season Overview

The 1999-00 season saw Sparta Rotterdam finish 13th in the Eredivisie. The club had a change in management during the campaign, with Jan Everse starting the season before being replaced by Dolf Roks in October 1999. In the KNVB Cup, Sparta were eliminated in the first round.

Key Players

The team's top scorers for the season were Ali El Khattabi and Danish midfielder Anders Nielsen. Other key members of the squad included Nourdin Boukhari, Bram Marbus, and goalkeeper Frank Kooiman.
