Season Overview
During the 1997-1998 season, Spartak Trnava enjoyed a successful campaign under manager Dušan Galis. The club finished second in the Slovak Superliga, known as the Mars superliga for sponsorship reasons. Furthermore, Spartak Trnava secured silverware by winning the 1997-98 Slovak Cup.
