Season Overview

The 1991-92 season saw Peter Shreeves manage Spurs to a 15th place finish in the First Division, though they did reach the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. For the inaugural 1992-93 Premier League season, Doug Livermore and Ray Clemence took joint charge, guiding the club to an 8th place finish and an FA Cup semi-final, where they were defeated by Arsenal.

Key Players

This era featured prolific striker Gary Lineker, who was the team's top scorer in 1991-92 before departing. The squad also included club captain Gary Mabbutt, Paul Stewart, and Gordon Durie. The 1992-93 season saw the arrival of Teddy Sheringham, who finished as the Premier League's top scorer, alongside emerging talents like Darren Anderton and Nick Barmby.
