Season Overview
The 1998-1999 season saw Toulouse FC compete in French Division 1, where they finished 18th and were subsequently relegated to Division 2. In domestic cup competitions, the club reached the Third Round of the Coupe de France and progressed to the Quarter-Finals of the Coupe de la Ligue. Guy Lacombe managed the team for the first half of the season, with Alain Giresse taking over in January 1999.
