Season Overview
Chelsea competed in the Premier League during the 2015-16 season, finishing in a disappointing 10th position after entering as reigning champions. José Mourinho began the season as manager but was sacked in December 2015, with Guus Hiddink taking over as interim manager for the remainder of the campaign. The club also reached the Round of 16 in the UEFA Champions League and the Sixth Round of the FA Cup.

Diego Costa was the top goalscorer for Chelsea in the 2015-16 season, netting 12 Premier League goals and 16 across all competitions. Other significant contributors included Willian, who was a consistent performer, and Cesc Fàbregas, who provided 7 assists. Eden Hazard, Oscar, and John Terry were also key members of the squad.
