Season Overview

The 2020 season marked Inter Miami CF's inaugural campaign in Major League Soccer (MLS). Under head coach Diego Alonso, the club finished 10th in the Eastern Conference and 19th overall in the league. Inter Miami participated in the MLS Cup playoffs, reaching the play-in round in their debut season.

Key Players

Notable players in the squad included Mexican international Rodolfo Pizarro, who was a key attacking midfielder. Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuaín joined the club in September 2020, while French midfielder Blaise Matuidi signed in August 2020. Scottish winger Lewis Morgan was the team's top goalscorer for the season, and experienced goalkeeper Luis Robles served as captain.
